Which derogation option should I choose to set up my thermostatic valve?

When you choose the “Until date” or the “Until mode change” option, the derogation will continue until the selected date (if you chose “Until date”) or until the next mode change (if you chose “Until mode change”), unless:

  • A manual derogation is done on the valve
  • A manual derogation is done through TaHoma®
  • An order is sent by the TaHoma® Agenda

During that period, the valve’s internal schedules are deactivated and are not taken into account. The valve will reactivate its internal schedule at the end of the derogation. It is recommended to not use these options if you are using the TaHoma® agenda.

When you choose the “Until new order” option, the derogation will continue indefinitely until a new order is given:

  • A manual derogation is done on the locally on the valve
  • A manual derogation is done through TaHoma®
  • An order sent by the TaHoma® Agenda (if you have set one)

During that period, the valve internal schedules are deactivated and not taken into account.
