What is the difference between the wired and radio versions of the thermostat?

Every Somfy thermostat is used to manage a boiler / heat pump / floor heating system / electric radiator system with a dry contact input.

The cabled thermostat is recommended to replace an old cabled thermostat that is already positioned at the correct height (1.5m, not directly exposed to sunlight). The radio thermostat is used to replace an old cabled or radio thermostat and requires a receptor to communicate with your heating system.

Wired version:

The wired version is equipped with a terminal block on its back cover.
