Does the Link Advanced keep working if there is a power outage?

The Link Advanced uses backup built-in and disposable batteries, ensuring 14 days of system security in the event of a power outage. It is the user's responsibility to check the disposable batteries. They must be new and should be changed after any power outage lasting more than 12 hours.

Note: Link cannot work with its built-in battery alone; disposable batteries are required.

The Link Advanced keeps working locally if there is a power outage. You can change the site's arming status using your key fob or the keypad.

If you have selected the GSM backup network service, you will be notified in the event of an alarm.

You will still receive the following alerts (as long as the Link Advanced battery is connected):

  • Intruder motion sensor / IntelliTAG,
  • Link Advanced tamper sensor / motion sensor,
  • SOS alert,
  • Loss of electric power,
  • Return of electric power,
  • Link Advanced battery power low.
