Getting wet while opening the garage door will be a thing of the past! Click on your remote control and your garage door opens in seconds. The integral courtesy light automatically illuminates your garage and switches off after a short delay.

When an obstacle is detected, the system immediately stops the door and opens it again. When the garage is closed, the motor locks the door in place and resists any attempt to force the door open.

Select the battery back-up option and your garage door will continue to operate automatically even in a power cut. Manual operation is also possible by engaging the manual release system.

An electric garage door operator is used to automate Up & Over, Sectional and Side Hinged garage doors.
The garage door operator is secured to a transmission rail and fitted to the ceiling of the garage. The door is fixed to a sliding carriage which runs in the transmission rail. The motor powers the carriage, which in turn drives the door. The Somfy Dexxo range of garage door operators are compatible with the majority of garage door types and are in most cases easy to install. Remote control operation and integral courtesy light are standard with all Dexxo systems.

A tubular motor is used to power a roller garage door. The motor is positioned in a tube, which has a roller curtain attached to it. The motor drives the tube, which results in the roller curtain coiling up around the tube. In the open position, the roller curtain coils up above the door opening. When the door is closed, the roller door (curtain) uncoils and locks securely in place.
